MEET Lucky !!
This shy mellow little guy is just two years old. Lucky is a Maltipoo. (Maltese/Poodle mix) He was owed by a family that never neutered him and allowed him to get out and roam the streets where he could have been hit by a car or stolen. Lucky was all matted when we got him. He is now groomed with a puppy-cut and he is just adorable. Lucky is non shedding and hypoallergenic. He has never felt so good !! He rubs his little body everywhere. Lucky is shy at first. But quickly warms up and just wants to cuddle on the sofa or bed with you.
Lucky needs a great new owner that understands Maltipoos need to be combed and brushed through to maintain their coat and a grooming every three months or so depending on how short you go.
Lucky is now neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines. He is also crate trained and will put himself in his crate. He is a little cuddle bug at night. Either on your pillow or under the covers. Lucky is a little shy with strangers. He needs a calm peaceful, mellow home. He is just fine with other dogs and ok with cats but needs to be told not to chase them sometimes. A home with another dog or two would be great. He likes to play once he knows them and he's comfortable.
Please tell us a little about yourself, lifestyle, activity level, your home, and any other dogs or kids in the house. We think Lucky would be great in a home with other dogs. But he could also be spoiled rotten as an only dog. Older children only please. Lucky is on a premium grain-free limited ingredient kibble consisting of salmon & sweet potato. When you see Maltese with the red tear stains in the corners of their eyes, red swollen feet and red around their tail and butt. That is food allergies normally from chicken.
Lucky has none. He is beautiful and pure white with a cotton-like coat. Thank for looking. Lucky is a funny little dog and will make his new family smile and laugh all the time.

All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, dewormed, licensed, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Also included is a free health check by our licensed veterinarian. The dogs that come out of our program are very well socialized when they leave, both with people, and other dogs. It is up to the new owners to maintain this. All of our dogs, young and old are crate trained. This gives the new owner a head start for house breaking, and to curb any separation anxiety and or destructive behavior. Most of our dogs are in foster homes and we are able to tell you lots about each of their personalities. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An adoption fee, application, and contract are required.
