Hi there. I am cool dude COOPER. What’s your name? Nice to meet ya!
Hey! Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Houston, TX but I want to get OUT of Houston and OUT of Texas so I can have a really good life. I want to see Texas in my rear view mirror. A nice person came along and took me in and, now, I am ready to hit the road to your house! Uh, make that “our” house, OK?
Wanna know more about me? OK, here goes! I am a handsome Lab/Shepherd mix, we think. My parents took off before I had a chance to ask them. I am 1-year old and I weigh about 50 pounds. I am probably fully-grown and won’t get any larger, we think. The vet says that I am in excellent health. I have had ALL of my shots and have been neutered. YIKES! I am also potty-trained. I’m ready, willing and able to go to your house! Uh, let’s call it “our” house, OK? Those funny-looking creatures, named humans, I think they are called, told me that they think that I am pretty darn cute. What do YOU think, huh?
Can you stand hearing more good stuff about me? I am relatively low-keyed. I am a quick learner and LOVE to please! How much better could this get? I am very sweet and loving and I LOVE all other doggies. I might even like kitty cats. Let’s not get carried away though. I reserve the right to change my mind! OK? I am a friendly guy and love being loved on and giving back love to my peeps.
Before I was rescued, some kids were throwing rocks at me and I darted into my foster mom’s garage. Whew! Thank goodness, she didn’t throw me out. So, I’d probably do better in a home with no kids but, like kitty cats, I might be just fine with them but, right now, it is still fresh in my mind that some kiddos were mean to me.
Oh, how I would love to have my own home and some peeps to cuddle with and they could love me and take good care of me. That is my first dream! My second dream is all about treats and playing and romping with my new family. We could play catch in the back yard, throw a Frisbee, go for walks or hikes and do all the things good buddies do together. Ah, I can see it all now!
My foster mom loves me SO much that she only wants me to fly to my new home even if a pet transport truck was available. See my adoption information below.

My adoption fee is $650 USD and includes my vetting, neutering, microchip, health certificate, travel crate AND transportation on United Airlines from Houston, TX to areas in the Northeast U.
