Ember Lou's Story...
*** AMAZING, SWEET DOG IN RESCUE FOR OVER A YEAR & A HALF*** Hi guys! My name is Ember. If you are looking for the perfect snuggly, calm baby, I am the girl for you! I am a gorgeous Australian Cattle Dog/Carolina Dog/Boxer/Lab mix. I am house trained, and crate trained, AND I can stay out in the house without a crate, because I do not get into anything I shouldn't. I am the most submissive, wonderful dog toward people. I am great on a leash, and I even love small children! I am very quiet and do not bark. I am the perfect little lady, however I would prefer to be the only dog in the home. After being surrendered to the shelter by my owner for no fault of my own, I was thrown in a small kennel with multiple dogs, and was attacked by another dog. After that, I become terrified of other dogs, and I need a family who will not force me to be around any other dogs- which puts me outside of my comfort zone. I would prefer to be the center of attention in my new home, and I think cats are for chasing, so I need a home without kitties. I am very gentle, I know how to sit, and I have no food/toy resource guarding. I am AMAZING with children and adults! If you think I could be the perfect girl for your family, please click 'email us' below, and we can set up a meet and greet!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ember Lou, a Arlington Carolina Dog/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Carolina Dog/Boxer for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Carolina Dog/Boxer dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Carolina Dog/Boxer breeders who help with Carolina Dog/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
