Dominic (black) & Jax (red) were reluctantly surrendered to IDR+ when their mom realized moving into a high rise was not a good choice for a pair of large working breed dogs. The boys are littermates, and we hope to find a home for them together, but they won’t be heartbroken if we need to split them up. Their DOB is 1/15/14, which makes them 2.5 years old, and they are both 90 pounds. Their ears were cropped, but they flop wherever they land. (In the photos, Dominic’s ears just happened to fall back in some photos, but they are not always like that.) According to their paperwork, they are housebroken and crate trained, have lived with children, are friendly around large and small dogs, act friendly and playful with new people, and didn’t mind grooming. The previous owner trained them to walk nicely on a leash and sit by the curb while walking in the city, but these boys would be happier with a yard out in the burbs. They like to play fetch with a ball or frisbee. The boys are treat motivated and know ‘sit’ and ‘down.’
