My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gwendolyn is just about the perfect dog. She is as beautiful as she is cute and as graceful as she is goofy. She even has a purple tongue smile! Her story is a sad one. So much so that we created her own face book page (facebook.com/fidofreedomsgwendolyn) to tell it and to raise the funds needed to make her well again. She was caught as a stray by Animal Control here in Riverside. She had been hit by a car and was badly injured. She had broken toes and was missing so much skin on her legs the vets had to postpone necessary surgery to allow the skin to regenerate. She received top notch care and is now completely healed (and minus one toe) with no limits to her daily activity. She is the happiest dog, so eager to please and to give limitless affection. She loves everyone she meets both human and canine and we believe she would do well with cats with proper introductions. She is completely vetted, spayed, and up to date on everything. She is potty trained, crate trained, and learning leash manners. Her favorite thing is to sit in the foster momma’s garden swing and sun herself. She is waiting to be someone’s special girl.
