My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

He has several families already interested in him so please see our other adoptable dogs.

We do not adopt dogs from phone calls or emails. Please do not fill in adoption forms anywhere else, but on OUR web site. Thanks for that.

To start our adoption process, please fill out our form on our web site at: www.spokanewienerdogs.org and see the Adopt a Dog/Fee page with more details on how we adopt our dogs. There are a lot of questions answered on our web site and personality details below about each dog BELOW so please READ BEFORE getting in touch. We already answer 500+ emails a day. We do answer questions on dogs once our adoption paperwork is filled in so we can match to the right homes.

Please indicate which dog you are interested in on our adoption form. If their name says "pending home" then they are not available and are on a test drive with a new family. We do remove our dogs when our adoptions are final so please do not ask us if dogs are available if you see their ads.

There is an adoption fee of $300 for this dog.

Loki is simply adorable and charming. With his high energy level and level of grey on his face and other factors we are guessing he is about age three to four. We are still testing him on kitties.

He came to us because his adopters from a shelter did not have a fenced yard and he was challenging larger dogs when walked on a leash or typical dachshund behavior. He is charming and playing with every dog here from medium sized on down to his size off leash so he just thinks he is a doberman defending his people.

This happy dog is greeting all people and their dogs as well so I can see him making someone a very snuggly boy in his new home. He is also active when zooming so he needs exercise area and play time. Plus he likes toys and balls so older than a pup but acts just like one.

Loki does need his housebreaking finished and we are putting on more weight after worming and feeding him a lot more chow,. Otherwise I am finding nothing wrong with him. He is passing every test I am throwing at him.

He can be very noisy in a crate at first, but we are working on that as well. I love a very smart and easily trained dog so he is well on his way to more manners for his new home. Loki is already learning quickly that yelling in a dog crate is not allowed here.

I am guessing is he a dachshund and min pin cross. Right now he is about 8 pounds but should be around nine pounds. He is a mini sized dog until he playing fetch then he thinks he is large and in charge. He is very sweet with toys with other dogs too. This is a very sweet boy.

I am looking for a play buddy around his size and someone with a fenced yard for him so no trailers, apartments, condos or townhouses without a fenced yard to zoom. Please do not apply to adopt if you do not have all that for him.
