My name is Beau I am a 7yr old 18lb Yorkie Silky Terrier Mix
I love to take walks and exploring the outside world and would love someone who likes to do that and who would't mind taking me for several walks a day so I can explore and exercise but if you have a fenced yard I would love that even more! I like to do my zoomies and have you chase me and play with me. I really would love a semi-retired, retired or work from home Mom or Dad since I am a little dog and we can not hold our potty as long as the larger pups and someone who wouldn't cringe if I make a potty mistake because you are gone to long.
I need a home with no young children, I have not been raised with them so I am very leery of them especially if they run at me during my walks I will bark at them and usually scare children, I have very little tolerance for children and I would rather live in an adult home only and will only be placed in such.
I am very selective with my dog friends, I am fine walking with a female puppy and do like to play with her but when 2 male dogs approached I was not friendly with them, it is not known if it was due to my female friend being there, if the males were intact or what but I think I would do best as the only pup to prevent any issues and injuries just to see if I would get along or not. I have lived as an only dog my whole life and I am use to that, plus I get all the lovin and snugglin!!
My current families work schedule has changed, my family really loves and are very heartbroken but feel it is not fair how many hours I am left home alone so they decided it was best I find my new furever home so I can be even happier then I am now, could that furever home be with you, can you be my new Mommy or Daddy?
