Inky had a rough start in life as he was left outside without much human interaction and virtually no socialization. He has already come a long way though, turning into a real sweetheart. He loves his human foster mom and also loves playing with other dogs. Inky is young enough to be taught to respect cats and children. But he still needs someone to help him overcome his shyness and tendency to be scared of people. He is very aware of noises and his surroundings. He is crate trained and house broken, but like any puppy, will still need to learn to go outside at his new furever home. Inky's ideal home is one where he can learn to socialize with people, dogs and children; a patient family willing to help him learn to trust them fully. He needs a home with another dog or with his brother Onxy. A fenced yard will help keep Inky secure, but please do not ever leave him outside alone, since he is so fearful of being left on the street again. Inky is agile and fast, and based on his breed mix of border collie/shepherd, he would probably love to try agility dog classes after basic training. Inky is treat motivated and should excel at training which should started as soon as possible. Once Inky comes out if his shell, he will be your best friend for life.
