Ellie (Guest)'s Info...

Ellie (Guest)'s Story...
We are helping Ellie find a new home.

Ellie is a black and tan female GSD (mostly black), about 4 years old. Her owner can no longer keep her because she does not have the resources to care for Ellie. Ellie has some anxiety, and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the day. Her owner can keep her temporarily, until a new home is found.

Ellie gets along with dogs. She could also do well as an only dog, she has lived as the only dog in her home. We do not know if she like cats. She is friendly to people, and has been around children and does well.

Ellie has had allergies and ear infections when the seasons change, but they are treated with medication. She is otherwise healthy and up to date with vet care. She is spayed. Her owner can provide vet records.

Ellie would do best in a moderately active home, where she could get regular exercise. She is housebroken, knows basic commands, is crate trained, and walks on a leash.

If you'd like to meet Ellie, please contact her owner directly at

GSDRGA has not met Ellie, she is not our foster dog. We are guest listing her. Please contact his owner to ask questions, or set up a meeting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ellie (Guest), a Roswell German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Roswell, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Roswell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roswell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roswell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roswell paves the way for another one to be saved.
