My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

~compassionate adoption fee applies, if serious adoption please email caarescue@gmail.com~
My name is KiKi and if you watch my video ( https://youtu.be/TSQnlmSAG30 ) the first few pictures will show you what state I was in when I arrived at the Montreal SPCA.
Thankfully with their kind help I found CAA Rescue and my foster mama.
When I arrived in foster care I was anxious and not house or leash trained. It was very clear that no one ever took the time to show me any kind of life. But my foster mom decided that, that was something we should remedy!
I am very proud to say that I am house trained and leash trained now. And while I was a tired old man when I arrived in foster care now I am just like a skippy young pup! I am typical poodle with lots of energy, always ready to get up and go, go, go! I stalk my foster mom around the house while she does her daily chores and even sometimes I get to dance with her!
I do enjoy snuggling in bed too though so I really am your perfect best friend… ready to be active and have fun like a miniature athlete with my tall skinny legs or sit there and binge watch a series on Netflix together.
I am a poodle so you must remember that it is normal for me to be vocal, I talk and talk and talk! I have a lot of stories to tell and my foster family has to listen to them all. :) So apartment life probably won’t make your neighbors too happy to have me around.
But then again being poodle means I am Super Smart! I want to learn new things.
I do live with cats and dogs (both big and small) in my foster home and get along great with everyone… in fact I am in foster care with another CAA Rescue dog her name is SiSi and even though she is only 1 year old we get along great together!
I do need daily stimulation and companionship so if you are away from the home for a long period of time every day this probably won’t work for me as I will get sad pretty fast!
I am a soft and sensitive gentleman so probably best in a home with no young children living there daily. I have never hurt a fly but being the sensitive guy that I am probably best to just have kid visitors every now and again rather than to live with them 24/7 as it won’t take much for me to get emotionally upset if there is too much activity or conflict in the home.
I am a very intelligent capable man!
My foster mama (or as I like to call her, “maaaaaaaaaaaaa”!) treats me with much respect and I in turn love her for it. That is why I really need a poodle experienced family to adopt me for always because I am your typical poodle man.
