My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Mattie" is named for the character from TRUE GRIT, which is what it took for this little lady to survive. She was found on Matthew street at a 7-11 in Belville and was alone, hungry, frightened, and very pregnant. She is leash trained and knows how to sit. As a result of being treated harshly by patrons of the convenience store, she is a little skittish of males but otherwise very friendly. Her litter of six is happy and healthy and ready to meet their new caretakers. They appear to be Shepherd/Catahoula mixes and are beginning to develop their own individual personalities.
