My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WOW WHAT A LOVER. And when you hear her story you will cry. Sally listens well. You tell her crate and she goes right in. She comes when you call her every time the first time. At this time she knows the routine and just does it. She loves treats and melts in your lap. She soaks up love and just wants a lap to sit in as that's what she deserves. Sally has never shown any aggressive behavior towards anything. Not a cat or a dog. We are still learning her behavior. At her first adoption event she woke up the whole store barking at all the other dogs walking by and apparently she doesn't like them at her crate. I really think it was overwhelming for her but it Did scare a few people off.
During the Hurricane flooding we were driving back from a flood rescue and as we drove around a bend there was a dog in front of us circling and then drop! How lucky and un-lucky is that? If you are going to get hit by a car, doing in front of a rescuer is when to do it right? Sally actually had no broken bones but her past shows to not be so nice. Another yard ornament is what she was. Per the neighborhood, She was previously seen running with another dog dragging a chain. Sally also had milk bags but we never found her owners and no one ever came forward for her. So. No broken bones and no owners? Personally I think she was thrown out of a car. But we will never know. Many people dump dogs out here if a liter dies as well. Sally is heartworm positive (of course) and will be treated prior to adoption. Please be the one to love and spoil her forever!

If you rent or own a home, you will need to have a fenced in yard.
Apartment living is also ok but will need a fenced in area if open to the road.

All adults in the home will need to know they are getting a dog and will need to sign the adoption agreement.
We will not adopt to college students with multiple roommates.
Military will need to provide a backup plan.
