Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Brownie
Breed: Lab Mix
Age: 4 years old (2017)
Sex: Female
Temperament: Very Friendly
Good with Dogs: Yes
Good with Cats: Unknown (can be tested upon request of approved application)
Good with Kids: Yes
Brownie loves to have her fur brushed, which is a good thing, because being a lab mix, she sheds quite a bit. She is quite patient with the people she likes and doesn't mind being dressed up for photoshoots. She's not much for toys, though she has warmed up to tennis balls since she has been with us. She is quite fond of them now as well as being all about back scratchies. Brownie really loves to chase tennis balls and go after toys! Brownie's ideal home would involve a parent or parents that know when a dog is pulling their leg and trying to learn where her boundaries are. She needs someone that will know when she is pushing boundaries- once she has pushed them and figured out what is acceptable and what is not, she is the absolute perfect family dog! Brownie is wonderful. She thinks she is a lap dog and will literally let you hug her as long as you would like to. She is so fluffy and soft; it's a bit like hugging a teddy bear. She rides wonderfully well in the car and likes to watch out the window as the world zooms by. Her very favorite thing is to go for adventures, especially to Petsmart where there are so many kind people available to meet! If we were to sort Brownie into a Hogwarts house, we would expect to find her in Ravenclaw. She is very clever as well as kind.

Peach County Animal Rescue is a rescue located in Fort Valley, GA. Our adoption fees range from $175-350+. On average, our fees are $250. Fees are higher for dogs that came to us with additional things like professional training (i.e. service dog, working dog). All of our dogs are fully vetted: up-to-date on annual shots, spayed/neutered and microchipped with a lifetime registration. We look forward to hearing from you!
