My name is Max and I am an 6-8yr old 8lb little boy. I am vetted/neutered/microchipped/dental Housebroken/crate trained I came into a police department as a stray pup found in a forest preserve parking lot just walking around having a grand ole time when someone one picked me up and turned me in on 102916. I may have easily walked there from the surrounding subdivisions and the rescue has been trying to find my family since I came into the rescue on 111216. I have been to the vet during the search for my family, I had really bad teeth and the rescue wanted to make me comfy real fast which resulted in 11 teeth removed along with all the other fun stuff. Thing is I was recently groomed, bathed and had a brand new collar on but no one has come forward so they say it is time for me to find my perfect home. I get along great with my foster dog family pups but I started out really liking my toys and will make sure no one wants to take it. I would need a family with other dogs that do not care about toys as much as I do., I have gotten a lot better but my foster pups family work with me and I do not feel as threatened. I do not lash out or attack but will sometimes growl and sit on it. I have not attacked any of my foster siblings is what I am trying to say. I love attention and like to play fetch and will run and catch a small ball and bring it back..well sorta you will have to reach for it or I may jump on the couch with it. I also love to wrestle with my foster Mommy MIchele she play fights with me, rubs my belly the wrestles with me ad I love it. I also love to jump on the couch and watch tv with you and I do not mind my crate, I only sleep in my crate when foster Mommy has to go out and when everyone goes to bed. I do not need to be crated and would love not to be but the rescue likes me to be okay with a crate. I am great with people of all ages and sexes and happy to see everyone but I will only be adopted into a family with children over 8yrs old as I do not want to get hurt with someone trying to pick me up. I do have an adoption $250 fee to cover my vetting and to help save the next pup. I am fully Vetted/Nuetered/Microchipped/Heartworm Neg on preventative and also under flea/tick treatment as well I am looking for my perfect home within 50 miles of Chicago Illinois an application and home visit a requirement I am such a good little doggie!!
