My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PUPPY WILL HAVE FIRST DH2PP VACCINATION AND FIRST WORMING TREATMENT. ADOPTION FEE IS $400.00 + $350.00 SPAY/NEUTER DEPOSIT - WILL BE REFUNDED ONCE SPAY/NEUTER CERTIFICATE IS PROVIDED TO US. WE CANNOT SAY THIS PUPPY IS HYPERALLERGETIC.
Blackie, 8 weeks old, most likely Shihpoo/BorderCollie mix,  female.
Blackie is gentle and poised, both emotionally and physically. She’d be perfect for a quiet household and doesn’t appear to need as much physical activity as the other puppies, though she’s built like an acrobat with balance that allowed her to get out of the pen before anyone else due to her natural, balanced, gymnast grace. It’s easy to get lost in her dark eyes, so focused and receptive. Her hair will be long and gorgeous, possibly like a Shih-Tzu, and she has a curled tail. It appears she won’t shed and may be “hypoallergenic.” First born, this princess (in the best possible connotation), has a delicate bone structure and will be small, perhaps a toy, though she was 8 1/4oz at birth.  Blackie will sit and wait, looking for eye contact, remaining patient and quiet. She would be a great trick dog due to her intelligence and acrobatic grace and would do best in a calm household. She’s also a natural therapy dog. In my opinion, in a litter with gorgeous puppies, she’s the most beautiful. She’ll also be easy to house train given her natural proclivity.
Blackie and her siblings have received excellent care from their mother and in their foster home.  Peaceful when asleep, observant and tails a’wagging when awake, they are playful in ways that make you laugh aloud each day. They have been exposed to family sounds, activities and to both men and women.  All puppies are very good natured.

The necessary first step to inquire about any dog, is to complete the NCPR Adoption Interest Form. Once we receive the NCPR Adoption Interest Form, a volunteer will contact you. We need your information to match you with the perfect companion. NorCal Poodle Rescue places dogs within northern California only.
