Deja is a sweet and loving cat to humans but does not get along with the other cat I adopted at the same time from the same shelter. It's been 4 years and instead of getting better, it's getting worse. My other cat is an older female who is blind in one eye and has health issues. I cannot leave them alone or turn my back on him for a minute before he attacks her. My other cat lives under my desk because it's her "safe place." I must emphasize that Deja is a super sweet cat to me but not to other cats. He is skittish and very timid to strangers and prefers women. He loves to be held, sleep with his head on the pillow next to me, and cuddle in my arms when at my desk. He needs time to adjust to new people. I don't know how he is with kids. I hate doing this but my older cat deserves safety and peace in her old age.
