My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Willy! This sweet boy came to us in an example of how important teamwork is in rescue. Willy was found by a good Samaritan with blood covering his hind legs. He was taken to a local vet where it was determined he was suffering from a necrotic penis. A vet tech there fell in love with him and couldn’t let him suffer anymore just because he didn’t have an owner to pay for the surgery. She reached out to us and we were happy to help, so Willy officially joined our rescue. He is a LOVE. Willy has the complete pit bull lean down and would crawl inside of you to cuddle if he could. Willy is only around a year old so he does have puppy energy still, but he has proven to be wonderful with other dogs, cats (he got swatted and thought it was an invitation to play), and kids.

Now that Willy is healing up, he’s ready to find his forever home! If you’re looking for a complete sweetheart that could fit in just about any situation, Willy could be the pup for you!
