My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hazel- this 40 lb 1 1/2 year old sweet beauty has had a very rough start in life and is looking for her happy ending. She was taken to a high kill shelter days after having puppies. Her puppies were taken also. She got separated from her babies at the shelter and was found sitting in a corner grieving, scared and in pain from having her milk. After all she has been through you would think she would not trust humans but Hazel loves people. She has attached herself to her foster mom and is very protective of her. She loves to play with toys and run around. She is excellent in the house and is crate trained. Since she is very active she would do better in a house with no small children and maybe only one dog. Someone who has owned a pittie would be preferred. She's a great girl that needs a second chance in life with someone that will show her love. She has excellent manners and listens very well.
