My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

With no more ado they ran off together Contented to live in the hills and the heather And long was their happiness free from all strife With adventures aplenty from the rambling life - from 'The Rambler' by The Willis Clan
Our big love bug's rambling days are long gone now. No longer does he need to roam the streets in search of a safe place to find shelter and be loved. Rambler is a one year old tan Lab/Shepherd or possibly Cur mix weighing 50 lbs of pure love. This precious boy has had quite the journey in his short life but he has overcome every obstacle thrown his way (with a little help from rescue). Rambler ended up in a high kill southern shelter after being hit by a car. Sadly he did not have treatment for his injured leg for over a week until rescue found out about him and pulled him. He was immediately taken to the vet for evaluation. Unfortunately his front leg could not be saved and had to be amputated. His resilience is astounding, one would never know he was ever hurt and now a tripod. Rambler is not at all phased or slowed down by the loss of a limb. He has learned everything about being a house pup on all three's. He is house trained, crate trained, walks well on leash, and adores being loved on. He has loving personality that makes him a foster favorite. He will happily hang out and chew on one of his toys when foster mom is doing human stuff but when the time comes to sit and relax...well he's going to be right next to loved ones. Rambler gets along wonderfully with kids, other dogs, and cats which makes him the perfect family friendly pooch. Sweet handsome Rambler is already neutered, updated on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. His rambling days are surely over but he will happily run off with his loving forever family, gladly leaving behind the strife of times past. Could you be the one he will share all his future adventures aplenty with? We sure hope so but more importantly...Rambler does.
