My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kira is as sweet as they come! She weighs about 4 or 5 pounds and is around 8 years old. She is doing fantastic going outside to potty on a schedule and is ok with other small dogs but would be wonderful as an only dog. She does not kennel at night and does not like to be confined. She sleeps curled up on a blanket on our couch, but would probably love to sleep in bed with you.

Unfortunately, Kira arrived with terrible teeth and had to have most removed when she came into the rescue, but she is adjusting quite well. Sometimes, her tongue sticks out a little, but it just makes her even cuter than she already is! Because of her small size, Kira can not be placed with young children or large dogs. If you are looking for a quiet, mellow little lap dog, Kira is your girl!
