My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

~adoption fee applies, if serious about adoption please email caarescue@gmail.com~
My name is Malone or it is now because that is what my foster dad calls me. I was found as a stray and picked up by animal control. After a week of nobody looking for me I was released to CAA Rescue in foster care.
They said I am about 8 months but I think I am under 6 months of age to be honest. I am still very puppy like and need some training, like a baby I am still using my mouth to communicate a little too often so I need a patient family who is going to teach me how to refrain from doing this going forward.
I am pretty good on the leash though when you consider how young I am with not that much training. But I am so smart and am learning fast with my foster dad.
I live with two other dogs in foster care and have met some others on my walks and travels with my foster dad, I have been great with everyone I met.
I have not been tested with cats but I did bump into one on one of my walks and I was more curious than anything so I don`t think I have prey drive to be quite honest.
I am great in the car and like driving around.
I did have accidents in the home the first couple of days when I was there but now that I am used to the daily routine that has stopped, I suspect my new family can expect this from me as well when they adopt me. There is always an adjustment period required; as we both learn about each other.

I have not really been very vocal since joining my foster dad nor have I been left alone for any extended period of time. Just a few minutes here and there… I was fine but I am not sure how I would respond all alone for a full work day. I am currently not being crated and snoozing in bed with my foster dad is my most favorite place to be.
I do love people, like a happy puppy should, although like a puppy I have to learn not to jump up on people to say Hello! So my new family will have to help me with this too. It is cute now but as I get bigger and grow it won`t be that funny for very long when I knock over poor Grandma when she comes to visit!
I have not met any children yet but my gentle nature with everyone makes me feel like if the children are respectful and caring of me I could make a best friend to them
I currently show no signs of food or toy possession or aggression
I am just a happy go lucky pup these days not overly hyper but not a snoozing all day long senior either. I am looking for an active family to love me for all my days and to help continue my training to get me to be the good solid canine citizen I know I can be and really want to be
