My story

Mardi is a 8yr old medium haired black female who came to us awhile back from an Ocean Shores adoption partner due to her owner having too many animals. She is a shy girl who didn't get much socializing as a kitten due to the number of animals in the household. She is good with the other cats but doesn't really engage with us much. She will exit or hide when we enter a room.

As with all cats adopted through PAWS, Mardi has been spayed, seen by a vet, vaccinated-including rabies, dewormed, flea treated and microchipped.

All adoptions include a free exam by a local vet, , and gift certificates from local pet stores.

Additional adoption info

By adopting from PAWS, you not only gain a loving companion – you save a life! We have an enormous variety of animals to choose from -- purebreds, mixed breeds, all ages and personalities -- and our adoption counselors are specially trained to help you choose the pet that's a perfect fit.

PAWS requires that our animals be spayed or neutered before they are adopted. We also require the permission of your landlord if you're renting your home. After you adopt a pet, we expect that you'll have it properly licensed and provide it with a lifetime of responsible care, including nutritious food, fresh water, adequate exercise and regular veterinary visits. And, of course, a lot of love! Adoption donations are $110 for adult cats, $150 for kittens (up to 6 months) and $50 for seniors (age 5 and up)
