My story

Say hello to Wellington!!! This 6-month-old hippo lowrider joined us from a local shelter and we haven’t stopped laughing yet! Wellington is such a good boy. Sure he’s a little bit of a bull in a china shop, but he’s also a little bowling ball himself! He’s got a tiny little body that carries around a huge head. Wellington currently weighs around 40 pounds. He is terrific with other dogs and loves all people he meets. In fact within minutes of meeting a volunteer on his first day out of the shelter, he wrapped himself around her neck like a scarf. Some family is going to get extraordinarily lucky to adopt this guy. We’re already jealous of them!
