My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mr. Happy is an incredible German Shorthair Pointer. He is so well mannered, so obedient and beautiful. He loves to play ball and he loves squeaky toys. He runs around the field and picks up all the other toys the other dogs have left out. Then he hides them in his kennel for later. He loves to torment everyone by squeaking the abandoned toys he's found that are "all" his now. He is kind of a clown and can be goofy but he loves to snuggle. Tummy rubs were invented just for him and he doesn't ever want them to stop. Food is a very big part of this kids life too. He loves treats. He also loves bubble baths. He had his very first spa treatment and seriously did not want to get out of the tub. He strutted his stuff when he came back to the shelter as if to say. "Yep I am lookin fine" :)

Our Happy has had a bad couple of weeks. The vet noticed a growth on his leg and after a biopsy was done we found out he had a soft tissue sarcoma, grade 1. Which is very slow growing. The lump was removed and our vets thought they got all the cancer. The prognosis is good. Happy is just 7 years old and he loves life. We are hoping there is someone who will be willing to share a few wonderful years with him and follow through with any necessary treatments.
