Taffy's Story...
Hi, I'm Taffy! I am 4mo. old. They say I'm a chihauhau mix. I will probably be about 25lbs. when I am full grown. I am super happy and playful. I'm crate trained, mostly potty trained and very smart. I haven't had a lot of work on a leash cuz the weather hasn't been too great for that so I'm a little freaked out by it but am getting better. I love everyone I meet and am very friendly. I am an active little pup who is always ready for a good time. I will be super easy to train as I am very treat motivated! I already understand "no, good girl, no bite, sit" and am working on "lay down." I would love a home with people who will include me in their activities. A fenced in yard would be best for me because I love to explore. I will soon be getting spayed and microchipped. Since I am still a puppy I can't be left home for more then 4 hrs. at a time.
My adoption fee is $350. Apply to adopt me here: https://rescueofhope.com/adoption-application/.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taffy, a Grand Rapids Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
