Meet Chloe -
This darling girl has such a twinkle in her eye and a real joie de vivre in her life energy. She is so alert!! She enjoys just being in whirl of her home and loves canine, feline and human companionship.
She is very observant, sturdy and loves to be with her people. She has been in a stable home for a for almost a year and is doing so well. Her roots are living on the streets of LA with some homeless folks until an angel rescued her -so she gets extra brownie points to be so little and to have survived a crazy life like that.
The essence of Chloe:
Chloe's forever family should love the Jack Russell Terrier personality - energy - talkativeness - and bounce-around- happy-go-lucky personality. They should be patient with her when new company arrives at the door as she sees herself as a guard dog and everyone has to submit to a sniff test when company arrives:) She quickly engages newcomers and once approved, she wiggles and gives you her paw to be friendly.
Chloe loves her toys, her BFF named Princess -a small terrier- and she enjoys chasing and playing hide and seek with the cats. She is potty trained and also can use a pad if need be.
I believe she would really enjoy a large yard to chase her toys and exercise in. Since she is a city dog originally, she may also enjoy the dog park and beach with the right management. She has not been tested in that environment yet. She is good on a leash until she sees another dog and then she gets excited and can be vocal if the other dog doesn't keep a comfortable distance.
Chloe has learned to sit, place (go to a place and stay there), toy (go get your play toy), and go potty outside and if someone comes to the door she will bark until she is told 'thank you that's enough' and she calms right down.
Chloe enjoys sitting on your lap with pets and loves and has a adorable way of moaning when she wants attention and giving you her paw to be friendly.
Chloe is absolutely adorable and is the rescue dog that is so appreciative of her home life and animal friends. She is a bossy bit of goods and just couldn't be a nicer dog. Her personality is what makes you love her so much!! Her eyes say everything she is thinking - Love - Play - Food - Friends, again and again! :)
