Want a BFF? I'm your girl!
I'm nervous around new people and would do best with someone patient. I love to hang around with the people I know. If my foster parents are sitting, I want to sit nearby. If they're walking, I want to go walking too. If they're being silly with me, then I'm all about that! My happy place is with my people, and as long as they're around, it's all good!
General Socialization Notes:
If my people are around, and not with me, sometimes I have a tougher time. I do not like to be crated when they are home; I can take the crate if I have to when they are away without it being too bothersome. I'm potty trained, and know some basic cues. I'm very food motivated and eager to learn a few more things with you! Sometimes, I get a little excited to see you, but if you turn your back when I'm too rambunctious, I take the hint pronto. I'm super gentle with treats, and am very polite when eating.
Does the dog like other pets?
I'm curious about other dogs, and might do well with other dogs with a slow, separated intro; the folks at All Breed can help us with that! I'm not great with cats, though.
Favorite Toys:
I love toys! If it's a ball, I'll chase it. Sometimes I'll bring it back, but I haven't quite figured out that if I do that consistently, you'll keep playing with me. If it squeaks, I'll squeak it, and if I'm supposed to chew on it, that's what I'll do.
Does the dog like children?
I've not met any children but I would probably not do well with younger children.
Forever Home:
I'm a total sweetheart who wants to find someone who will love me as much as I love them. My perfect family will treat me as one of their own; it's what every dog wants, and is what I'll need to succeed and grow. I need to have a house with fenced in yard.
