My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Travis is a young boy, who was a non-racer and just arrived from Kansas. His small dog status is not yet known, but he appears to do fine with cats.

We just turned one-year-old on June 20 and never raced. Well, I guess we've raced around the yard, but never officially.

We're still puppies even though we look like big boys. We've experienced so many changes in the past week, it's been interesting but scary.

We're both introverts, so we need time to adjust to new situations. We prefer quiet, patient people who give us space and let us decide when we're ready to interact. We don't think we'd like a noisy, busy home, at least not yet.

It's not that we don't like people. We do! We just like to take things slow and get to know you before we jump and slobber all over you.

Ms. Wanda says we come out of our shells more every day. We have no idea what she's talking about because we don't have shells. Maybe she got confused when she saw a blanket on Flynn's back. Arizona is not as warm as we were lead to believe.

If you'd like to foster or adopt both of us, that would be awesome, but we promise to be brave if we have to live apart. Because we aren't sure what's expected of us as pet dogs, we'd like to live with a doggie mentor if at all possible.

Hoping We Get Picked Soon,

Travis (white/brindle) and Flynn (brindle)

P.S. Just to be clear, we're greyhounds, not turtles.
