Stanley -- Young!'s Story...
Spunky Stanley arrived at the shelter on January 18, surrendered because his lady friend has to move and can't have a cat in her new home. He is only about 8 months old, so he is still a bit of a kitten, and he appears to have some Maine Coon in his mix. Like many young male cats his age who have not been living among other cats, he thinks he's the boss. He has some alpha tendencies that should subside a bit now that he's neutered, but if he goes to a home with another cat, ideally the resident cat would be dominant and make sure Stanley knows who's in charge. Stanley lived with a German Shepherd, so he should be fine in a home with a dog. Though he is playful and often likes to be held and to sit in a lap, he can be a bit fresh, so a home with young children is not preferred. He just had surgery and is available to go to his new home on Thursday, February 2.
Stanley is box-trained, neutered, current on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. Adoption fee for adult cats is $50 (cash or check only, please).
