Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zach is an 18 lb Dachshund Mix who is 1-2 years old. He is a lively and playful boy who loves to have a run around outside. When he comes in, he also loves to sit next to his people, but is not a lap dog per se. He knows how to use a doggy door and has been very good about doing his business outside. He has not been exposed to cats in his young life. He is not used to walking on leash and will need someone who will work with him on that. He would prefer a home with a fenced in yard. He would do well in a quieter home with older children and would love to be an only dog. However, he could live with other dogs as he has done well in a foster home with a lot of other dogs.
