Here's what the humans have to say about me:
It was a sad time for Christie when she arrived at our shelter Christmas Eve 2016.
Christie's beloved person was losing her battle with cancer. Family felt this woman could not pass peacefully until certain that her equally beloved kitten Christie was safe and cared for. Christie came into our care wrapped in her person's sweatshirt, bewildered and frightened. She hid under that sweatshirt for several days then slowly started to peak her head out to take in the new surroundings.
Christie is now living with other kittens and young cats in our Kitten Kottage.
It seems like she is suffering from a bit of a broken heart. She tentatively comes out for attention. Once comfortable-she so wants to be pet and cuddled.
We are uncertain of her age. She appears to be a kitten but at the time of her spay, the veterinarian thought she may be a very tiny young cat who will always remain small. Christie would likely do best in a quiet household with a person willing to patiently give her love and attention. We believe, with time, it will be returned many fold!
