Graclyn is just 10 months old and she is homeless. But it may be for the best in this case. Graclyn was given to a family who had lost their beloved pet by someone who just wanted to make them feel better. However, Graclyn was not a good fit in this family. She was afraid living among their many small children and appeared nervous and standoffish. Nobody was happy. (The oldest child was eight, and Graclyn felt safe with him, so she would be more comfortable with older children.) Graclyn was taken into boarding by ARF on 1/13/17 weighing about 28 pounds. According to Ripley Paws Veterinary Clinic, on the day she was vetted for rescue, she had gained to 39 pounds. Had she relaxed enough to eat or was she not being fed enough? Upon intake on 1/13/17 she was given Bravecto and Drontal. Graclyn is housetrained, good on a leash, and good with other dogs and cats. She likes to be with people and will give a mournful cry when put back into her kennel after time with the staff at boarding. This girl will blossom with the right family where she feels safe and secure!
