My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lolo was a stray and went into the home of a lady eighty years old. She called the shelter about the stray, and they put her on the list to come in as soon as they had space. The senior lady didn't understand that they would be getting the dog eventually and thought she had to do something with it. Some ARF ladies heard of her plight and decided to help. They went to the home and there was Lolo. The senior already had dogs and said that though she was very nice, she didn't need to care for another. Lolo went into foster care on 1/15/2017. She probably had ever been inside a home before, but from the beginning she was very good and watched and learned. They took her to the vet for rabies and bordatella on 1/19/17 and gave her a DHLP shot the same day. The vet said that she is between 1-2 years old, but since there is no tarter at all on her teeth, she's likely closer to one year old. She has a spay scar. Lolo will go to the door and whine when she wants out and is being a very good girl in the house. She weighs 33.8 pounds and looks something of a shepherd/terrier mix, but the DNA test has been sent away to find out for sure what she is! She likes other dogs and loves to be with people. When she was taken to the vet, even the clients remarked about how well-behaved she was. For a little dog who was lost and trying to fend for herself, she is doing especially well.
