Stanley's Story...
Hi, I'm Stanley! I am 8 weeks old! I was found in a box with all my siblings, so we are not sure what breed my parents were! Maybe lab mix, but the vet doesn't think I'll be too big! I'm cute though, and that's what matters! I am fixed and chipped, and have had my first round of vaccines. I'm doing awesome in my crate and go right to sleep when it's time! I've just begun house training so it's going to take me a little bit of time to learn, but I'm a smarty! Because I'm so little and am working on potty training I can't be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time. I really love playing with my sister and am very respectful of the other dogs in the house! I think a house with another dog sibling would be great for me! I think cats are interesting, but I'm learning to leave them alone! Once I'm tired from playing, I love cuddling up on your lap for a good nap! Do you have a spot on your couch for me? I am up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. My adoption fee is $300. Apply to adopt me here: https://rescueofhope.com/adoption-application/.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stanley, a Grand Rapids Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
