Special Needs: I don’t have much sight or hearing. It doesn’t slow me down too much. Just don’t rearrange the furniture often!
Ideal Home: My ideal home would be a quiet, calm place who appreciates a chill companion to hang out with. I can be an only dog if you are home most of the time. But I also enjoy having other calm dogs around to keep me company if you need to go out. It’s probably best if there aren’t young children in the house since I can get startled easily being unable to hear or see them.
Now for the good stuff!-
I love sitting on the couch getting belly rubs and cuddles! I also love treats! Though I have limited sight and hearing, I can jump on the sofa, find my way around the house and the back yard. I like my foster sisters and I like visiting the neighbors. When it’s dinner time, I let my foster mom know it’s time to feed me!
I currently get drops in my eyes twice a day because they are too dry. I don’t really like it but I take it like a man and then I get hugs afterward! I don’t really like you to mess with my face and ears too much either.
My foster mom says, “Perez can do a cute trick. He bounces around in a circle, barking and growling at his tail! He can also navigate his way around the backyard and come inside through the door on his own. He learns the layout of the land fairly easily.”

PS. I've had ALL my vetting, and oh boy, it was a lot. Here's what I had done:
Distemper/Parvo shots – TWICE. One shot doesn't cut it.
Bordetella shots - ALSO TWICE.
Spay/Neuter-of course.
A fecal exam so I don't have any bad worms. Treatment if I do.
A heartworm test. Treatment if I am positive for heart worms
BLOODWORK to make sure my liver and kidneys are working well, because you know, we doggies often have issues in the liver and kidneys.
A DENTAL exam AND cleaning if I needed it- yep, all my toofies are checked out.
