My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Feb. 20th: Courtesy post for another charity in the Sacramento area called Friends of Nitro. They rescued a group of dogs from a field, who were all dumped out in the middle of no where. One of the dogs named Shylo, needs our help in finding either a new foster or ideally a forever home ASAP, as her current foster has another dog w/cancer; Shylo has become too much for her dog during his illness. This is tearing Shylo's current foster momma apart, as you can imagine. And we'd like to find a new spot for Shylo right away!
Here are some details:
Shylo is spayed, up to date on all vaccines and is approx. 9 months old and weighs 40/45 lbs. She is a very shy girl, and scared of the big world! She is an extremely active and very loving pup, and relishes playing with all other dogs! She really needs another big dog in her life, who loves to play too, as she can get rough and tumble -- but not at all aggressive!
She is fearful of some humans, but curious. She will be a runner, so someone who understands she needs to be on leash at ALL times when out and about. She just needs the right home that will understand her needs. She's very happy to be at a foster home and has a doggie door and will go out and watch the birds and lay in the grass for hours at a time! She is also taken twice a day for an hour to exercise, but still has lots of energy left over!
