My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little girl was found in a backyard of a house located in a historic Detroit neighborhood. Video cameras showed her sneaking into the yard and then curling up underneath a wheel-barrow. That night it dropped into the 20's. Like most Detroit strays she was probably a product of back yard breeding or accidental breeding from not spaying/neutering and was unwanted, and either dumped or just let loose to fend for herself. She, of course, did not have a collar on and was not microchipped. She went to the vet last week and checked out great besides the typical long nails, dirty ears, and minor scab under her left eye. She received her first rounds of shots and is estimated to be about 10 weeks old and weighs 16 lbs. She is a fearless one and doesn't back down from anyone even her 90 lb foster brother. She is picking up potty training pretty quickly/easily and won;t be hard to fully teach. She is extremely smart! She loves to play and is very voicetress when doing so. Edison is a sweetheart and loves to cuddle. She would make an excellent addition to a new family who is willing to spoil her rotten. She doesn't have experience with children or cats but if introduced slowly would do very well. She will be ready for adoption by March 10th.
