My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chance is a sweet, 4 year old (approx.), golden retriever mix boy! He has had a very tough life but all that has changed for him! When he was picked up by animal control it was very clear he has a terrible embedded collar at some point. We believe chance has lived his whole life outside as he is learning the rules of living inside. Chance was also heartworm positive. However, since then he has been through heartworm treatment, his embedded collar has healed up, he has been neutered, and is up to date on all vaccines and monthly preventatives! Chances loves people and other dogs! He loves to play outside, go for walks, and is learning what "dog toys" are. He especially loves treats, deli meat, and cheese! Although Chance did not like the crate at first, he has come a long way and does very well in the crate now! He will stay in there without making a peep. He is continuing to work on his house training and is doing very well on a consistent schedule! He enjoys lounging around on the couch and his dog bed and would love to find his perfect family!
