Say Hello to Bobby! He is 2 years old and weighs a very skinny 8.3 lbs, but would be a healthier weight if he gained a couple of pounds. Bobby is being fostered in Miramar, FL.
INITIAL BIO: Hi Everybody! It's me, Bobby. It's been a crazy day for me. I was supposed to be adopted from the animal shelter yesterday, but the person never came, so they called United Yorkie Rescue; a really nice lady swept in and got me out of my cage, and here I am in my new foster mom's home.
I liked my new foster mom right away. I put my paws on her knees and I looked up at her with a smile on my face ‘cause I could tell that she liked me, and who wouldn't? I'm the best little dog that ever walked out of the shelter (that's what she said to me). I'm super skinny, right now, but I like my food, so in no time I'll round out a bit. As soon as we were settled in the car, I walked right over and curled up on her lap. I love laps. I am hoping that someone adopts me who wants a lap dog. I LOVE to cuddle.
I met foster mom’s other dogs, and I liked them right away, too. Foster Mom isn't sure how I feel about cats yet, because she doesn't have any, but she says I am so chill, that I'll probably just go with the flow.
I’m great on a leash, great on a walk, I never beg, and I'm happy if you just leave me to curl up in my bed alone if that's what you want me to do. My foster mom is just astounded that someone turned me into the shelter. She says I am the perfect little dog and that I am so cute and sweet and soft and fluffy that someone is going to be very lucky to have me. She says I deserve the best home ever. Are you that best home?
I am definitely a people dog so if you have time to dote on me, I will dote on you, too. I just love everyone I meet. I never bark and am just a total joy to be with. Well, it's time for a nap. What a relief to finally be able to sleep in peace, in a soft bed, with a sweet foster mom and fur-siblings to look over me. Love, Bobby
Bobby's adoption fee is $450 and includes all vetting (neuter/spay, dental cleaning, immunizations, microchip and chip registration). A Vet reference, personal references, and home visit are required for adoption.
