Hello, I'm called Festivus. That's because I came to Helping PAWS during the “festive” season between Christmas and Hanukah. I was very, very lucky to come here because the other rescue where I was living had me scheduled to be “put to sleep.” Now, I like sleeping as much as the next guy, but they made it sound way too permanent! The reason they wanted to do that was because I was pulling out big chunks of my own fur. They thought it was because I was a nervous cat. Not true: it turns out I had an itchy skin condition. The nice people here have been treating me for that, and I am almost done with my treatments. That means, it's time for me to start looking for my very own forever home. According to the folks here, I'm a kitty with a real sense of humor (and not the least bit nervous). I can find amusement in almost everything: my food, my toys, my treats, my human friends and my kitty friend, Mahalo.
