Tommy is a very special boy. At first, he was extremely shy and not trusting of humans because he had such limited interaction with people having been born outside. Although he is still shy, he has turned into such a sweet boy enjoying attention from people and other animals. Unfortunately, he was born with a congenital heart defect called Patent Ductus Arteriosus. This abnormality causes a dramatically shortened lifespan unless corrected by a very extensive and expensive surgery. Amazingly, Colorado State University was able to take him into their program and were able to do the procedure for a significantly discounted rate. Tommy survived the procedure and recovered quickly. He is now looking for his forever home. His adoption fee is higher than other kitties we have listed to help pay for his surgery and keep CSUs program operating for future kitties that need surgery. His adoption fee covers up to date vaccines and deworming , felv / fiv testing, microchipping, neuter. $250 Himalayan Siamese mix. 6 months.
