My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet gorgeous Stoli! Stoli found herself in a precarious situation. A southern dog found as a stray ended up at a kill shelter and was found to be heartworm positive. Stoli was scheduled to be euthanized as no one came for her! We saved her at the last minute, and brought her to MD and got her all healthy!

Stoli is an independent girl, who is pretty calm and content. She likes hanging out with other dogs and just being chill. She is not your typical high energy, active lab. She is more laid back. We believe Stoli is about 1-2 years old. She is housebroken, walks well on a leash, rides GREAT in the car, and is learning how to be an indoor dog. Stoli does have a tendency to mysteriously find ways to escape fenced yards that have little itty bitty gaps in them, and she is a runner if she gets away, but she will allow herself to be caught.... eventually! A sturdy fenced yard with no gaps is a must for this gal! She is being fostered with another dog and even a tweenage child in the home and loves them all.

Stoli will be ready for adoption on or around April 22, but we are accepting applications for her now. By the time she is available, she will have received a clean bill of health, all parasites will be gone, she will have been spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and completely de-flea'd. She will also be on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.

This pretty little southern bell will adopt quickly, so get your applications in today! Interested adopters please email MJsAnimalSanctuary@gmail.com to request an adoption application. Adopters are subject to reference check, vet reference, home visit(s) and meet and greet(s). Adoption fee applies.
