My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Parri is a gorgeous young cat, born in the spring of 2016, who was abandoned with several other pets at an apartment complex.

Parri is not a fan of adoption events, so you are likely not going to see her best side as she keeps a watchful eye on the clock and counts down the minutes until she can once again travel back to her loving foster home.

At home, Parri is a very affectionate, playful and easy kitty to have around. She has been in a foster home with other kitties and two cat- friendly dogs. She takes it all in stride and adapts readily to changes. Parri loves catnip and chasing her squeaky mouse toy. Parri also has excellent litter box manners and even travels well in the car. She developed a quick bond with Germon upon arriving in "his" foster home and the two often nap together after a good game of chase. They also enjoy sleeping next to their foster parents and following them around the house. Therefore, Parri is looking for a forever home she can share with her buddy Germon.

To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and either come to an adoption event or arrange to meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
