Paige's Story...
Paige is now ready for adoption! She's is such a sweet little thing. She's got that helicopter tail going anytime you talk to her. She is crated during the day but sleeps in her foster mom's bedroom at night.
She gets along beautifully with the other greyhounds in the home but she hasn't been around small dogs or cats yet.

Paige is young, she will be 2 years old in June but she is very laid back considering she is so young.

She's done with rehab for her leg and is ready to be spayed and have her dental. Then she will be ready for adoption!

All of our greyhounds are on heartworm and flea and tick preventative year round. We require adopters keep their greyhounds on heartworm and flea and tick preventative year round as well.

GHRA's adoption fee is $250 and includes the following:

Spay/Neuter & vet exam
De-worming
Full dental cleaning
Fecal & Heartworm tests
Update all vaccinations if needed
Bath & flea treatment

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paige, a Cape Coral Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Cape Coral, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Cape Coral.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cape Coral already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cape Coral breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cape Coral paves the way for another one to be saved.
