Nala is a rescued Tuxedo cat. We found her on October 29, 2016; she came to us right away, purring, even though she was starving and all bones. She quickly adjusted to our dog, but unfortunately we are not having any luck between her and our 2 elderly cats. She is not declawed, but I was impressed how quickly she learned what she’s aloud to scratch on. She’s very smart and she knows how to open sliding doors and some drawers. She will be your shadow and also your tour guide to lead you to her favorite spot. She mostly speaks in rolling R’s rather than a normal “meow,” and it sounds so cute! She also comes when you whistle and she loves cheese. She prefers to just be near you, being pet on her own terms (she will warn you when she has had enough). She doesn’t like to be alone and she’s very protective. She needs a patient person willing to earn her trust. She seems to trust girls more than boys. Nala is about 10 months old (her birthday being sometime in June).
