UPDATED BIO 03/31/2017: Hi again, Lucy Lu here. My tummy problems have been fixed and I'm back on the “ready to be adopted” list. Let’s hear a B-I-G YEAH FOR ME!


The dogtor said I most likely have a simple food allergy to both chicken and turkey. I'm now on a grain-free prescription food (venison and potato) and I'm doing great with this new yummy food. I've even gained a little weight, which I needed to do. I'm at my perfect weight of 9.5 pounds. I will have to eat this special food forever. This new Rx food costs is mostly the same as a good quality no-grain food. Even if you have to pay a few cents more, I’m here to tell you that I’m sooo worth it!


I have been spayed and had a dental – my teeth are so white now and I am feeling much better. I will be seeing the dogtor on April 7th for my final check-up and will then be ready to be your furever friend. Do you want an adorable forever friend like me?


Oh, I almost forgot something. Foster Mom said that UYR spent a lot of money on all that testing to find out why I was having tummy troubles. She said I should nicely ask everyone if you could make a small donation to help cover the vetting costs so that UYR can help other little homeless doggies like me to find wonderful homes. So I'm askin' - please donate whatever you can cuz it really made a difference in my life.
