My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please say hello to Rosita! This tiny 5-month-old pup joined us after her owners could no longer take care of her. She was a Christmas gift they realized they could not properly care for, and so she found her way to TDR! Rosita is a maltipoo/Chihuahua mix (that’s maltese/poodle/chi). Her owners weren’t prepared for the energy level of a puppy and left her in her crate most of the time – she had never even been outside until she came to us! Luckily dogs, especially puppies, are incredibly resilient and Rosita is proving that to be completely true! She’s a fun little dog that loves to run around and play, just like any typical puppy. She slept all through the night with no accidents, is doing great with the other dogs in the house (including 2 much larger pit bulls and a bossy Chihuahua), and LOVES people. Rosita is a winner!
