My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mortie is a little 10 year old American Hairless
Terrier. He and Suey came to Bare Paws after their
elderly owner passed away, which made them very
sad. He is an extremely sweet boy. And he is
adorable, too! Just look at that darling face. The
pictures make him look bigger than he is, just a small
boy of 10 lbs., He loves to give kisses, loves to stare
at you in adoration, will bark and bounce when he has
to go out. He is just learning the front steps at his
foster home, and has no interest in stairs. He loves to
sleep in during the morning hours...no early bird
here.! He currently sleeps in his own dog bed but on
his human's bed so he can be close to you. Don't be
fooled by his age as he certainly has a bounce! He
does have a condition called solar dermatitis which
causes small tumors on his hind leg, so sunscreen
every day is a must. The tumors need to be removed
every 6 months or so as they are cancerous, but he
has been treated for the condition for a couple of
years and is doing great! Just look at that face-he
hopes someone will see him and fall in love!
(Mortie is being fostered in New England)
