Boris just turned 2 and arrived on the latest Kansas haul with sibs,Coconut and Jelly Bean. He is the the son of Masha from our last haul. Because of his young age he had a very limited or nonexistent racing career.
Boris will be available soon. He does fine with small dogs and he appears to do fine with cats.
He is very large, outgoing, beautiful, friendly and always happy. He didn't like the big Costco treats I give at night and was very carefully stashing them under the dog bed in his crate. I started giving him soft jerky treats and he likes those. He tells you when he needs to potty, hasn't chewed up anything in his crate, has had no accidents and listens really well. Boris will stand and bark in his crate from the minute I turn the vacuum on till I turn it off. I vacuum a lot...he barks...a lot :)
SPECIAL NEEDS: Heart worm positive. Has undergone treatment. Restricted activity for three months (through 9/15), then retest to ensure heart worms are gone.
I can understand why a bunch of worms moved into my heart. I love everything, so it was probably a great place to call home. The treatments to evict them were hard and I lost a bunch of weight, but I'm feeling better every day.
I'm a gentle boy, who can live with small dogs and maybe even kitties. I'd love to find a forever family who just wants to love me and make me a part of their daily lives.
