GIUSEPPE is six-year-old black and white long-haired, part Maine Coon male cat, and LUIGI is a three-year-old black and white long-haired, part Maine Coon male cat. Both boys were taken in off the streets by a well-meaning individual, but the home was too overpopulated with felines to give them adequate care, and they came to us. Both boys, recently off the streets, had been living in a tub because of the over-crowded conditions, and were having trouble walking and learning how to balance again on normal floors. They were both thin and very matted, the mats so tight against their skin it was causing pain and soreness for both boys. Giuseppe and Luigi had at one time known love and care, you can tell by their demeanors. Both boys are loving and affectionate, and we think given the right circumstances and time they will blossom into awesome lap cats! Giuseppe has one yellow eye and one brown eye, and it gives him a striking expression. Both boys are very handsome, and we love to watch them cuddle together, for they are so bonded they must touch each other while they sleep. At PAAWS RI, all of the cats that come into our care are spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping, and testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.

Our shelter is located in the Care for Animals veterinary hospital, at 2944 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886. You are welcome to visit during the following hours: Monday and Tuesday 8 am to 5 pm, Wednesday 9 am to 7 pm, Thursday 8 am to 5 pm, and Friday 9 am to 3 pm. We have an Adoption Open House every Saturday from 10 am to 12 noon â hope to see you there! We're also happy to set up appointments.
